Dr. Yehudah Pryce, DSW, MSW was a full participant in street warfare with rival gang members. Arrested as a teenager, Dr. Pryce served 16 years in prison, and eventually found his way to Judaism. Since his release in October of 2018, Yehudah completed his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, and obtained his Masters and Doctorate degrees in Social Work.

He now works as a clinical social worker for a collaborative court program for young adults in Orange County and as the senior director of mental health and well-being programs for a national non-profit organization. Additionally, Yehudah provides psychotherapy to individuals inside prison. He speaks at synogogues across the country about his journey from juvenile delinquency to Judaism; as well as the power of teshuvah and community, standing up against antisemitism, and the importance of the unbroken chain of indigenous Jewish tradition as it pertains to Jewish identity and Israel. Yehudah resides in Irvine, CA with his wife and four children.

Dr. Yehudah Price will also be speaking at Chabad’s Kiddush Lunch at 12:00pm on April 6th (services will be held at 10:00am).
