Shabbat of Healing & Unity

Let's join together with kindness and camaraderie to bring more light into the world

6:30pm - Kindness project

7:00pm Kabbalat Shabbat & Shabbat dinner

The "Tastes of Heaven" Shabbat experience with mixologist Cheryl Heisler was scheduled for next Friday, July 15th. Our community is in shock and mourning from the horrific tragedy that took place in Highland Park on July 4th and we feel that a cocktail event is not appropriate at this time. That being said, now more than ever, it is important that we spend Shabbat together and strengthen each other.

Therefore, we will be dedicating this coming Shabbat experience (July 15th) as a Shabbat of healing and unity and will reschedule the "Tastes of Heaven" cocktail event with Cheryl to a future date.

The event on July 15th will begin at 6:30pm with a kindness project, an opportunity for families to unite in acts of kindness for the benefit of individuals in need.

This will be followed by Kabbalat Shabbat services at 7:00pm, and a delicious Shabbat dinner with traditional Shabbat delicacies. We will hear words of comfort and say a L'chaim for those in need of healing.

Children and adults are welcome.

Free of charge. Donations welcome

The event will take place outdoors

As part of the kindness project we will be collecting canned goods to distribute to the needy. For a list of items click here.

(Stay tuned for the cocktail event with Cheryl in the coming months.)

Let us get together and strengthen each other during this difficult time.
